From the recent high school graduate that decided to leave Egypt to gain the experiences of studying abroad, to the Egyptian that unwillingly was born outside Egypt, to the Egyptian whose faithful Egyptian grandparents have emigrated from Egypt seeking a better life, they all are the same.  Yes, one category brings all of these people together: They are Egyptians living abroad. The perceptions and reactions you get when you mention “Egyptians living abroad” differs depending on how you call them. You will be surprised when you find out that people react differently to Egyptians living abroad depending on how you identify them.

Bomb Kills 21, Injures 79 at Coptic New Year's Mass in Alexandria, Egypt PDF Print E-mail

Saturday, 01 January 2011

At least 21 people were killed and 79 injured when a bomb exploded outside a Coptic Christian church in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria in the deadliest terrorist attack in Egypt since 2006.

The blast occurred after midnight as worshipers were leaving a New Year’s service, the Interior Ministry said in a statement on its website. “Foreign elements” appear to have been responsible for the blast, the ministry said, adding that it has beefed up security around churches nationwide “in light of the escalating threats from al-Qaeda to many countries.”

Al Qaeda’s branch in Iraq said in November it would attack Christian targets after it claimed Egypt’s Coptic Church was holding two women who had converted to Islam. The Church has denied this charge. No group has claimed responsibility for today’s blast.

Liberal Fanaticism at Ground Zero, A game of deception PDF Print E-mail
Written by Charles Jacobs, The Jewish Advocate

 By Charles Jacobs

The controversy over the proposed mosque at the WTC site has become ground zero for American liberal fanaticism. New York City’s powerful elites have histrionically made support of the mosque into a litmus test of how truly tolerant Americans are: If you question the wisdom of building the mosque near the WTC site, or if you raise concerns about its leaders, you must be a bigot.

And liberal fundamentalism is intolerant of dissent. The enlightened elites who now dominate our politics and culture seem to believe that most Americans are ignorant and intolerant bigots who cannot be trusted to do the right thing on their own, and therefore must be coerced. Think ObamaCare, think civilian trial in New York City for the 9/11 mastermind and now the outrageous project to build a mosque at Ground Zero.

Fatwa sanctioning the use of Christian and Jewish holy text as toilet paper pre dates Dena Milany's controversial comments about the Quran by 6 years

This is the first of a series aimed to expose Islamic Hypocrisy which is, for most part, not known to the non-Arabic speaking people. This hypocrisy is actually essential part of the Islamic teachings and is called (Takkiya) in Arabic تقية, a unique word which translates: lying if necessary to enhance Islam’s image or achieve its objectives.

You definitely won’t find shortage of Muslims when it comes to protesting for their rights, freedoms and against anybody who does as much as say or use the word Mohamed the wrong way. With frowned faces, loud voices, clinched fists, burning signs, making death threats … etc.; they demand respect for their religion, for the Islamic symbols to remain untouched and for everybody to basically “fall in line” when it comes to Islam. They do that with one hand while with the other they apply a totally different and completely opposite set of standards when it comes to others’ different beliefs.

Egyptian Liberal Magdi Khalil: Muslim Representatives Are Subverting the International Human Rights System from Within

Magdi KhalilBy MEMRI

In a May 2, 2009 article posted on the liberal website www.elaph.org, the director of the Middle East Freedom Forum, Coptic Egyptian-American journalist Magdi Khalil,(1) wrote about the activity of Muslim representatives in international human rights organizations. He argued that these representatives were trying to subvert the human rights system from within by using it to stifle criticism of Muslim countries and of Islam while promoting hostility towards Israel.
