The organization Voice of the Copts condemn the following atrocities committed against one of the oldest Coptic monasteries in Egypt:
At 5:00PM (10:00AM EST)of Saturday may 31, 2008 a mob of sixty armed Muslim locals attacked an Coptic Monastery known as "Abu Fana", the Monastery is located about 180 miles south of Cairo in city named Menia.
For about six hours the attackers fired their weapons at the monastery and the monks within, while screaming Allah Akbar.
